A deeper concentration of the democratic society, geography, map skills and government is introduced. Social Studies prepares the groundwork for the understanding of rights and fosters a sense of responsibility that improves our communities and nation.
Science
Science is a fascinating subject that helps us understand the mysteries of the universe. We also utilize the STREAM curriculum to further the science experiences of our students. This is when they solve problems through the integration of various subjects of Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art and Math. Each year our school participates in a STREAM Expo where they can showcase their projects.
Math
Math is an essential subject that provides the foundation for so many other areas. Our elementary school students focus on a variety of concepts from patterns to fractions. Our middle school students focus on concepts from place value to algebraic functions. We also offer advanced math classes for those who excel in math during the seventh and eighth grade year.

Spanish
Teaching Spanish in a Catholic school for grades Pre-K3through 8 provides a unique opportunity to blend language learning with the values of faith and community. In the early grades, engaging activities like songs, games, and simple prayers in Spanish can foster a joyful and immersive environment. As students advance, they can explore more complex language concepts while connecting lessons to Catholic teachings and traditions, such as learning about the feast days, saints, and religious customs in Spanish-speaking cultures. Integrating Spanish into daily routines and using it to discuss moral values and stories from the Bible can enhance their language skills and deepen their understanding of their faith. This approach not only enriches their linguistic abilities but also helps them appreciate the global dimensions of their spiritual heritage.
Technology
Teaching technology in a Catholic school for grades K-8 involves blending modern digital skills with the values of faith and community. Educators focus on integrating technology in a way that enhances learning while promoting ethical use and respect for others. Lessons are designed not only to build proficiency in tools and applications but also to encourage responsible behavior online and the application of Catholic teachings in digital interactions. By fostering a tech-savvy environment grounded in faith, students are prepared to navigate the digital world with integrity and a sense of purpose.
